It is the homeowner’s responsibility to retract the awning back in during storms and in climate weather. In wind-tunnel test, retractable awnings can sustain straight on wind forces of over 50mph; however, we STRONGLY recommend that you retract your awning in to keep it safe from “mother nature”.

Q: Do you use powder coating?A: Yes we do. Powder coatings are finely ground plastic particles consisting of pigments, resins, binders, fillers and hardeners. An electrostatic spray application used as fluidized bed as a feed hopper to hold the powder and fluidize it so that it can be pumped to the tip of the spray gun. High voltage is discharged through an electrode at the powder gun tip. The spray gun is designed to charge the material a direct it toward a properly prepared and grounded work piece/part. The part is then conveyed to the oven for curing of the powder. When exposed to heat, these plastic particles melt to form a continuous film of high durability and chemical resistance.
